the aims and objectives of the book to provide a basic and practical account of what I consider to be the essential subject matter of both dental radiography and radiology needed by undergraduate and postgraduate dental students,as well as by students of the Professions Complementary to Dentistry (PCDs). It therefore remains first and foremost a teaching manual,rather than a comprehensive reference book. The content remains sufficiently detailed to satisfy the requirements of most undergraduate and post-graduate dental examinations.
